Design and developpement of vincentrafis.com. Vincent Rafis is a psychoanalyst, researcher and artist. This site presents his curriculum as an unfolding list that displays intuitively different aspects of his work.

Appointed summer 2017 at Antidote I have worked closely with the team to refresh the magazine esthetic. Fantasy was the first issue I have helped creating: an exploration of desire and phantasm. Followed by Earth, a tribute to our planet: taking a stand for a fairer treatment of animals in fashion. Excess, revealed the destructive aspects of the industry: overproduction in fast fashion and unbridled search for outrage. In two years, I have also helped creating graphic systems to communicate on social media and other platforms.

Back in 2017, I was asked by the Geneva-based artists Camille Besson and Vianney Fivel to design their mutual portfolio. camillebessonandvianneyfivel.com is a compendium of their sculptures, paintings, videos and work process. The layout of the artworks, playing with transparency, and randomization creates beautiful unexpected compositions.

This logo experiment is the first concept designed for Portmanteau Rotary Plate (cf next project). Forged as one piece, it morphs into the 3 letters of the logo (prp). portmanteaurotaryplate.space

In 2016, I was commissioned by Jeudi, a Geneva-based artist group, to design their new project: Portmanteau Rotary Plate. The web platform displays multidisciplinary artists’ videos from around the world. The minimalistic design aims at highlighting the creations, and the « Hermes » font, with its rounded shapes, echoes and underlines the videos rotation.

Mecanical is a monospace font. It comes in three different weights (light, normal and bold). Inspired by the mechanical production of heavy machinery, its structure is cold and repetitive. Its geometrical skeleton is modeled on a grid. Mecanical is the reflection of a fantasized factory work, where every piece, choreographed and ordered, falls right into place.

In 2014 and 2015, I was commissioned by esad de Reims to design the poster for the upcoming Open Days (Journées portes ouvertes) of the art and design school.
